Contrast Media

X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound all create pictures with a high level of contrast that is enhanced by contrast media. These chemicals momentarily alter how the body reacts to exposure to X-Rays or other imaging technology. Using contrast media, it is possible to separate the chosen bodily parts from the tissues around them. A more accurate diagnosis may be made with the help of this visibility modification. These media have a very high tissue concentration without having any negative consequences.
